Description:
Launceston Jazz Club will present Melbourne band The Snappers on Tuesday 25 May at the Royal Oak Hotel. The group, led by Ben Gillespie on trombone and vocals, brings together six former members of bands such as The Hoodangers, The Band Who Knew Too Much and The Cat Empire. Though young, the group has wide experience and has toured extensively. Dinner music from 6.30pm with Carl Bulow (saxes) and Rob Batters (guitar). Main band 8pm. Book at The Oak on 6331 5346.
