This is an exciting time for Subconscious, but more importantly for Trance in Adelaide as this year Subconscious will be bringing you some of the biggest Trance parties Adelaide has ever seen.

Topping off 2009 with a Jon Obir/Mike Foyle (UK) finish was the end of an impressive year of Trance parties which also included the likes of Roger Shah and Martin Roth.

Not to let the ball drop we have come out bigger and better for 2010 teaming up with Onside Entertainment (Melbourne) and Adelaide's Super Club HQ to deliver the real mainroom experience Trance lovers and the likes are yet to see.

The first Subconscious party @ HQ for 2010 will see the MAINSTAGE of HQ graced with the presence of 5 INTERNATIONAL DJs - Eddie Halliwell, Sean Tyas, Signum, Solarstone and Matt Hardwick supported by Subconscious residents Steve Strangis, Ahmet Atasever, DJ Frost and Andrew Howlett for the trance line up. Pana$ and Sleazy E banging it out in the electro room.

EDDIE HALLIWELL (UK) - When any DJ at the top of their game steps up in the booth it has that effect.

Before they cue up a track, or even plug in their headphones, the mood changes – eyes dart to the front, people get up on their toes, breathing quickens as pulses begin to race and there is a murmur of expectation. But with Eddie it’s not merely a murmur, it’s a rapturous roar, one that grows until at its crescendo somewhere in the crowd the chant begins – “EDDIE! EDDIE! EDDIE!” - at that moment the uninitiated know they are in for something special, that they are about to see someone special.

SEAN TYAS (USA) - New York native, Switzerland based DJ/Producer Sean Tyas is something of a leading light in European trance. Currently ranked #46 in DJ Magazine"s Top 100 DJ Poll 2009, he was also earmarked by BBC Radio 1"s Pete Tong as a "buzzword in trance circles" head of his debut Essential Mix for the station back in February 2009 and hooked by industry power house Beatport has a "One to watch in 2009", leaving little surprise that 2009 went down as undoubtedly his biggest period to date.

SIGNUM (NL) - Signum is a name that consists of two producers Pascal Minnaard and Ronald Hagen both born and bred in the Netherlands. Although not at first was Signum made up of 2 names, both have known each other since their younger years and both were into making music, their paths throughout the years would see them meet up again and start making music together under the name Signum.

At first it was Pascal releasing tracks under the name Signum while working for BPM Dance, with first release (Inside a rainbow) followed by releases; "Flow of Knowledge”,” The Other Side”,” Adapter" as chance would have it Pascal ran into Ron and Ron started working for BPM dance before the 2 started making music together under the Signum name, which unbeknown to them would prove to be quite successful.

It was in 1997 the pair had their 1st release 'What you got for me' becoming a huge club anthem and now a true classic. From this success they started doing a lot of remixes for well known DJs including Blank & Jones and ATB. Still receiving a lot of interest DJ/Producer Scott Mac teamed up with the pair and produced probably still one of their biggest tracks to date 'Coming on Strong'.

Moving on from remixes they started playing their own music and made their debut a massive 3hr set at none other than Gatecrasher, the response was unbelievable leading to the duo playing all over Europe for Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Passion, Slinky and festivals such as Global Gathering, and Summer Sound System, and then on to tours in Australia (Two Tribes), Japan, Africa, Canada... the list goes on.

Moving on from BPM Dance conveniently at the time Armin Van Buuren Launched his label Armada and A State of Trance. Their 1st release under the label 'Push Through' made it to number 1. on the world dance charts, with continued successes right up until now they have also just brought out a new tune called Healsville with Roger Shah, who played at the most successful Subconscious in '09. Its only fair to say experiencing a set by Signum will be pure bliss.

SOLARSTONE (UK) - Solarstone a UK based producer/dj has been around since the 90's a time before Trance had really hit its peak. With a unique belearic sound his performances behind the decks are one to be experienced in the flesh. Solarstone can be known for countless number of club hits and classics dating back to as early as 1997 with hit single 'The Calling'.

Solarstone can be known for regularly playing the big stages such as Cream, Ministry of Sound, Gatecrasher, Slinky and Euphoria DJing along side the biggest names in the industry.

With releasing his 'Impressions EP' in 98' his top 40 hit 'Seven Cities would see him at the forefront of Trance selling over 500,000 copies and still being remixed and re released to this day. 2003, 04' 05' 06' 07 and 2008 would all be years chart topping singles would be released by Solarstone not to mention the fact he has his own label 'Solaris' and weekly radio show his accolades speak for themself.

MATT HARDWICK (UK) - Matt Hardwick lives and breathes electronic music since entering the club scene he has totally immersed himself in it. Moving throughout the industry at a rapid pace, it is fair to say Matt's claim to fame would come of the Gatecrasher label catapulting him to some of the biggest stages. He has been known for playing at New Years Eve event at Don Stadium which saw a crowd of 28,000 people not to mention Gods Kitchen, Slinky, Creamfields, Ministry of Sound, Passion and just about any other dance party with a big stage you can think of.

He sought big recognition for hit mix on radio 1 in 2002 being invited once more in 2005 with the same energetic response from listeners and followers finishing 2nd to only Sasha for essential mix of the year!

Matt has been known to play and produce along side the biggest names in Trance, and more so his productions which continue to see him be successful, some of these include: 'Day one and connected' massive hit 'Slave to the machine" being mixed by just about everyone in the industry. Releases in 06' and 07' with 'Live as" and remix of 'Gulf - impossible' also recording an underground album for Gatecrasher in 07' which sold over 100,000 copies seen him for the first time at No.48 in the Top 100 Djs poll. Matt Hardwick = Pure Class.

What does this all mean for you? Well... this year 2010 on Friday, April 23rd @ HQ - Subconscious will deliver you one of their best parties to date, when you combine Adelaide's best nightclub along with 5 HUGE International DJs (All playing a 2hr set) and the Support from Subconscious resident Steve Strangis/Ahmet/Frost and Andrew Howlett you know these guys are gonna bring the walls down as they tear the mainroom of HQ apart!
