Producer and remixer Ryan Riback has entered the world of electronic music with a bang. After a string of successful remixes gaining huge support the world over from top producers and DJs such as Michael Gray, Jason Nevins, Funkerman, Dave Spoon and Micky Slim, Ryan’s original works are taking peoples ears by storm and making themselves at home on labels such as Azuli, Vinyl Pusher Records and Grooved Music. Since moving from South Africa, Ryan has been sneakily living and producing just down the road from us, working with local favourites T-Rek, Nick Coleman and TV Rock. Lee Mortimer’s remix of his ‘Boom’ track has been getting radio and club play, smashed out all over Melbourne by local favourites Boogs and Tahl. Now signed to Vinyl Pusher records there are more of Ryan’s tunes on the way, including some from Overzero, Ryan’s new collaborative project with J.Nitti. Pete Tong recently featured their new track ‘In My Bedroom’ on his video tunes of the week. Due to be released on Azuli Records (UK) already the talk around the track has people saying it’s a hit for Ibiza super-clubs. Ryan gets out of the studio and behind the decks at Revolver on Thursday 18th September.
