Brisbane-based indie outfit Rocketsmiths are pleased to announce the release of their latest EP Parts, Pieces, and to celebrate, they’ll be touring throughout September and October.
Produced and recorded by award winning producer Magoo (Regurgitator, Operator Please, End of Fashion) at his private Applewood Lane property in regional Queensland, Parts, Pieces is the second EP from Rocketsmiths and is set for release on 11 October, through MGM distribution.
Playing a unique combination of indie rock, rockabilly and pop, Rocketsmiths invoke a carnival-esque element to their music with a sound that's energetic, quirky, and mature.
Parts, Pieces is also the follow up to Rocketsmiths' acclaimed first EP Meet Horace and Clyde, which saw the band achieve community radio airplay and glowing reviews across the country.
The past 18 months have seen Rocketsmiths grow from strength to strength, honing their unique sound and explosive stage show. During this time they’ve played alongside We Are Scientists (USA), Presidents of the United States of America (USA), Juliette and the Licks (USA), The Whitlams, Little Red, British India, Operator Please, and many more.
