Six individuals interact in a skewed and suspicious world of live performance, sound and imagery by playing games, sharing stories and stitching together fleeting yet potent images. Amidst this fragile reality, they execute petty acts of revenge on one another in the ultimate test of personal boundaries.
From irrefutable indignation to absolute remorse, Several Words Associated with Revenge is a collection of themes sewn together with vengeance as the thread. Drawing on the blood thirst of Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus and modern fables of retribution, this devised work is replete with intensity and, like revenge, it strikes when you least expect.
Several Words Associated with Revenge is directed by Daniel Santangeli and has been made in collaboration with live sound designer Thom Browning and visual artist Eric Bridgeman.
