Description:
The Crooked Fiddle Band are a young, high-octane four piece from Sydney who brew up a steaming cauldron of original and trad-inspired world music. From furious Romanian melodies and bluegrass swampstompers to tragic gypsy airs and Appalachian laments, the band's energetic performances delight a truly diverse audience with hard-core folkies, earth-children, inner city punks and teeny-boppers drawn in by swung groove, tear-jerking sorrow and mosh-pit intensity. Supported by Mr Fibby, featuring Emma Kelly on violin, Sam King on guitar Grahame Thompson on Cello and Adam Hadly on vocals.
