Following an extensive UK and European tour earlier this year, Sydney group teenagersintokyo are back in Australia for a very special tour in August.

The past twelve months have seen a meteoric rise for the local five piece. After signing with Back Yard Recordings in the UK (home to The Gossip, Chromeo, Seelenluft, and Tronic Youth), and the Rallye/Klee label in Japan (home to the Klaxons, Au Revoir Simone and The Teenagers), teenagersintokyo embarked on a whirlwind UK and European tour which saw them perform a storming live set on BBC 6Music, sell out a headline show at the Barfly in London, and play stand out performances in Paris, Berlin and Manchester.

In addition, the band have played in Australia with The Gossip, CSS, The Slits, Midnight Juggernauts, Ghostwood, Cut Off Your Hands, Damn Arms, Lost Valentinos, Van She, and The Brunettes, and recently finished a national tour with American wonder group !!! (Chk Chk Chk). They've also played Field Day, Playground Weekender, and Essential Festival.
