Adelaide’s Mere Theory and Melbourne’s Sleep Parade join for a weekend of shared cities as they play a set of reciprocal shows in the first week of August, in a Tourism initiative neither state government’s Travel Bureau approved of. Having spent most of 2008 already racking K’s in the tour van supporting some of Australia’s finest including Mere Theory out with Karnivool and Sleep Parade recently on the road with Cog. Local tourism and the value of good company in a strange City is something both bands have come to appreciate. Mere Theory and Sleep Parade are now keen to play the tour guide and show each other the sites, sounds and adventures of their local City. Why don’t you join them?
