Shapeshifter, voted New Zealand’s best live act, is back on the road performing the electric and cutting edge set they are known and loved for. To top this off they are releasing their first live album with tracks from their epic orchestra tour.

Since blowing heads at the Parklife festival across the nation in September, Shapeshifter have toured throughout Europe twice, had huge tours throughout New Zealand and have internationally released a vinyl of “One” with a DBridge (Exit Recordings) remix to great critical acclaim.

Shapeshifter will be releasing their live album in August 2008 (on Truetone thru Inertia) which encapsulates the essence, energy and vitality of their trademark performances. Recorded at the Christchurch Town Hall at the final show of Shapeshifter’s epic sold out orchestra tour, it features hits from their three albums including “When I Return”, “Tapestry” and “Bring Change.” This is an extremely special album capturing Shapeshifter’s revolutionary fusion with an orchestra and resulting electric atmosphere.

Fans will get the chance to hear the latest Shapeshifter tracks which they have been performing throughout Europe and will feature on their next studio album, due for release in mid 2009.
