Not only will Australian audiences bear witness to the savvy purveyors of sinister pop, Ladytron on their very first Australian tour, but the Liverpudians will be supported on their national tour by the “Kitsune-style electro-pop” of Swedish minstrel Familjen, whose track Det Snurrar I Min Skalle (It’s Spinning In My Head) has landed itself on mega rotation on Triple J and community radio, as well as rave reviews around the nation.

Up until now, Familjen’s live performances were comprised of one-man-band, Johan T Karlsson, dancing around with a mic cable around his neck, pushing his black box and switching things on n’ off. Recently it was decided that his close friend Andreas Tilliander will join in for all live gigs. Expect two Swedes, cute-as-a-button joyous electronic gems to jump around to, as they support Ladytron on their national tour, as well as playing all the Parklife Festival dates, except Perth.
