In 2008 4MBS will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Festival of Classics with 20+ events from 16-31 May.
The featured composers for 2008 are Puccini and Beethoven. Highlights include a Puccini gala concert, a Beethoven symphony cycle, theatre, film and a performance of Beethoven's 9th with massed choir. Actor Bille Brown will join with the Festival Symphony Orchestra in a music-and-words performance of excerpts from Shakespeare's Henry V to the music of Walton.
