Get ready to split your sides laughing as the 2008 Melbourne Comedy Festival Roadshow rolls into Brisbane Powerhouse from 15 – 18 May - bigger and better than ever.

Featuring a roll call of the most fabulously funny home-grown comedians and overseas guest artists fresh from the 2008 Melbourne Comedy Festival, the Roadshow will have Powerhouse Theatre audiences in stitches.

In an effort to keep this great nation doubled over with laughter, in 2008, local comedians Dave Thornton and Hannah Gadsby, plus a stack of other talent (yet to be announced) will fire some mammoth jokes your way with punch lines that will blow you out the back of the room.

As always the Roadshow promises to deliver a slick, unpredictable, outrageous and, of course, entertaining night out to Brisbane comedy fans.

With this year’s touring cast as diverse as it is funny there’s a chuckle, a giggle and a guaranteed belly-laugh for everyone no matter what your style of humour. This is the 10th massive Melbourne Comedy Festival Roadshow, with an amazing 111 performances at 73 venues across the country. From mid-April, the tour bus sets off to take Australia (and beyond – with a little side trip to Singapore) by storm.
