Two of Australia’s most loved and successful female recording artists Christine Anu & Deni Hines join forces on one tour takin’ it to the streets around the country.

In a 2 hour show each artist will perform a 45 min set of their hits and favourite songs and yes there’ll be some special duet performances as well.

This is the first time that Christine and Deni have performed together. “I’ve always been a fan of Christine’s, kind of like a kindred sister in some ways and she’s got a wicked sense of humour, so it’s going to be loads of fun. We’re pretty spontaneous gals so each show will be a little unpredictable in a good way”, says Deni with a mischievous glint her eye.
“Deni and I have followed each others careers and our paths are very similar. We record albums, do musical theatre, TV etc. plus we keep bumping into each other, so it made sense for us to hit the road together, its going to be great”, says Christine.

So the question on everyone’s lips is “are they going to record together?” That’s not out of the question, but you’ll just have to wait and see. Both Christine and Deni will be performing songs from their recent releases “Acoustically” (Christine Anu), “Water For Chocolate” & “The Other Woman” (Deni Hines) plus all their hits from “Island Home” to “Aint No Sunshine”, from “Sunshine on a Rainy Day” to “Son of a Preacher Man”, and much much more..

Christine has just returned from performances in LA and New York for G’Day Australia and more recently promoting her ARIA and DEADLY nominated children’s brand “Chrissy’s Island Family”. She will release a new album mid 2008.

Deni has just completed a successful tour with James Morrison in support of their Jazz album “The Other Woman” with near sell out shows and rave reviews. Deni will have a new single out in April and commence writing and recording later this year for a new album in 2009.
