Good Cop Bad Cop are very pleased to announce their fourth signing in as many months, with brooding five-piece Schvendes set to release their debut album ‘Sweet Talk Your Enemies’ through the label on June 28.

The Brothers Grimm of indie-rock, Schvendes tell tales of murderers, lovers and the disquiet suburbs with tenderness, honesty and brutal glee. Known for their intense live shows, they craft sounds with guitars, cello, rhodes and drums that is nothing short of epic, while weaving in and out of this sweet din is a voice akin to Peggy Lee on crack.

‘Sweet Talk Your Enemies’ encapsulates the first few years of Schvendes' life. Loyal fans will have what has been promised and new listeners will have the perfect introduction to this sweetly menacing band.

The release of the record will be preceded by the launch of the ‘Repent And Repeat’ single in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. Details of their national album tour and further details of the release will be made clear in the coming month…
