Get ready to Wiggle because Australia’s No. 1 Export* and most popular children’s entertainers, The Wiggles, are doing a series of shows in Sydney and Melbourne in May to celebrate the release of their new brand CD YOU MAKE BE FEEL LIKE DANCING. (released May 6) This short tour takes the group back into smaller venues and for the first time they will perform at the Enmore Theatre.
Joining Anthony, Murray, Sam and Jeff will be their friends Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus, singing and dancing along to Wiggles favourites such as ‘Hot Potato, Lights Camera Action and Can You Point Your Fingers and Do The Twist. They will also perform some of their new songs from the new CD for the first time!
The Wiggles’ interactive song and dance has been capturing audiences’ imaginations for 17 years! They have sold in excess of 22.5 million videos/DVD’s and 7 million CDs worldwide, and have been twice named Australia’s Export of the Year. The Wiggles are the most Awarded children’s act in Australia. Earlier this year, The Wiggles were named as UNICEF GOODWILL AMBASSADORS joining the ranks of Shakira, David Beckham and Roger Federer The Wiggles have always been great supporters of organisations that help children. As UNICEF ambassadors, they will be focussing on numeracy and literacy as well as sanitation.
