Description:

Boeing Boeing, a comedy of mayhem and matchmaking, received rave reviews and played to sell-out houses for its recent season in the West End. The same production with an all-Australian cast on board is set to touch down in Australia for a national tour from mid 2008.

Boeing Boeing originally opened in the mid 1960s and was one of the most successful comedies of its time, running for an impressive 5 years in London’s West End, 17 years in Paris, and was a hit throughout Australia.

This stylishly retro production directed by Matthew Warchus, opened in London last February and will premiere on Broadway in March this year. This same creative team responsible for the international hit Art in London, New York and Sydney. Boeing Boeing has been described as one of the most enjoyable and mischievously funny shows in the West End for years.

Boeing Boeing puts a seriously sexy and funny twist on classic farce. Bernard is a successful architect living in Paris happily juggling three airhostess fiancées who don’t know of each others existence. It is all a question of airline timetables, steered with the assistance of his long-suffering housekeeper Bertha, who has reluctantly taken on the role of romantic air-traffic controller.

When old school friend Robert arrives, Bernard relishes the chance to show his wide-eyed visitor his first-class romantic operation at work. Unfortunately, schedules change, flights are delayed and a new turbo-charged Boeing aircraft is introduced: chaos ensues in this hysterical whirlwind of love and farce.

"Absolutely shameless entertainment... Brilliantly funny." - Independent on Sunday.

Excellent show, and a really talented cast. I particularly loved Helen Dallimore and Mitchell Butel, but all the performances were very strong. Fantastic timing all round and lots of laughs. Couldn't fault it!
Beatrice

Great - the house maid and the daggy friend stole the show - the german hostie was also a star
Kate
As an ex flight attendant, I thought it was fantastic. The Lufthansa hostie added the oomph and lifted the energy levels even more! Great show
Grant
Absolutely loved it! Exceeded my expectations.
Emily
It was great. My husband and I took our 15 year old daughter and we all loved it, proving that the humour had great appeal. Highly recommended!
