Misschu was first established as a catering business in 2005 by Nga Chu, (aka Nahji) who immigrated to Australia as a refugee from Laos in 1978. Nahji’s grandparents fled Hanoi for Laos during the French occupation. In 2009 Nahji opened Misschu Tuckshop in Darlinghurst, which has fast become a Sydney hot spot. Inspired by the opportunity afforded to her in Australia and memories of her childhood, Nahji proudly represents Vietnamese food at Opera Kitchen - offering a range of exquisite hand made finger food and dishes using only the best and market fresh ingredients.
