The great Russian pianist and Head of Piano Studies at Yale University, Boris Berman, returns to ANAM as Director of this year’s Piano! Festival from 6 – 14 July 2010.

Legendary American pianist Garrick Ohlsson plays an all-Chopin program; Michael Kieran Harvey performs his highly acclaimed – 48 Fugues for Frank (a tribute to Frank Zappa); Paul Grabowsky performs original compositions that are reflective of works that have influenced his career. English based, Australian-born Piers Lane and ANAM Alumni Aura Go will both perform recitals.

Under Berman’s direction, ANAM hosts a series of evening recitals combined with an intense daytime schedule of classes, public masterclasses, seminars and recitals.
